Me in a santa suit handing presents to my brother one Christmas. I got into toruble every year with a number of folks at my former church (Dudley Christian Fellowship). I was told having santa in church missleads kids into believing in someone who is false. One of the critics insisted that I should look more carefully into it. 'If you take his name santa and change the order of the letters you get satan'. She’s right of course but if you take the name God and change the order of the letters you get the name dog. Is God really a dog? I’ve a friend named Carlo who is a church leader. If you take his name and change the letters you get Carol. Is Carlo really a woman? Alas the year I resigned there was no santa, the poor kids had to get their presents from under the Christmas tree. Did I say Christmas tree? Who put that pagan thing in the sanctury? Do they not know that the Germanic kings sacrificed nine males at the sacred fir tree groves every ninth year? Thankfully Saint Boniface took the Christmas tree and gave it new symbolism. let Christ be at the centre of your households. Its leaves remain evergreen in the darkest days: let Christ be your constant light. Its boughs reach out to embrace and its top points to heaven: let Christ be your Comfort and Guide."[
Well ok why not let the white of santa's beard represent God's purity and santa's red coat represent the blood Christ shed for us? Why do you have to be so miserable and spoil Christmas every year with your stupid twisted spiritual egoes?

The Pub
When I became pastor of Dudley Christian Fellowship God blessed us in our work and the congregation grew numerically, financially and spiritually. As a result we were struggling for car park space and facilities to administrate the church vision. We had a number of arguements with the pub land-lord about parking our cars. In the end I made inquires about buying the premises. The owner turned out to be an old mate from my home town of Bilston. Graham Watkins. I contacted him and asked if he wanted to sell the pub and the rest is history. Or rather a present day benefit. The £150,000 facility functions "as a new home to many of the church’s existing projects as well as being the centre for new activities. A large part of the ground floor is set apart for youth and children’s work and is already well in use, with a kitchen and catering facilities providing for church events such as the Alpha course. The main hall may soon provide a live link up to church meetings in the adjacent building which means that more people will be able to participate in Dudley Christian Fellowship’s Sunday Services". My favourite room in the premises is the Hagar House Suite.

Casino Chaplain I'm the one with the Bible in my hand
I was a Casino chaplain about 10 years ago. Unfortunately I lapsed back into gambling and lost my pastorate, a lot of money and friends and almost lost my wife and kids. Things got worse than that for a time. But by the grace of God I didn't loose my salvation,faith, true friends, Christian ministry or wife and kids.
'But by the grace of God, I am what I am,and his grace to me was not without effect'. 1 Corinthians 15:10.

The tent in the background is one that did not blow away when we arrived in the South of France to preach a series of holiday messages Heaven's Heroe's. My family was upgraded to a porto cabin until the preacher's (cheap tent) was fixed.

Relaxing After Preaching For Holiday Makers in The South of France
I got sun burned,wind blew away our tent,Ralph on the far right had to carry our water jar because I hurt my back,it took 37 hours on a coach to get to our destination and I got told off for leaving a shop door open and letting in the heat inside to melt the chocolate. But we had a great time, the fellowship with other Christians was great. I led worship and preached a number of sermons entitled Heaven's Heroes. Colleen was also pregnat with Nathan and Joseph got his first sun tan.

Our Second Trip To The States
We had arrived in Disney World Orlando Florida and were greeted by the iconic white armoured stormtroopers from Star Wars. See him upon the roof eyeballing us out. It was our second trip to the States. We would stop over in Clear Water on the way to visit our friends in Florida City. I preached in various churches in Miami. We visited the Miccassuci Indian reservation, Christian Radio Station and the everglades before returning home.

Local Church Mission
We conducted a Gospel missision for Westbury Chapel Wolverhampton. The meetings included preaching,drama,song,life stories. And a day out in the town centre where my young son Nathan is pictured handing out Gospel tracts.

IRELAND EQUIPPERS CONFERENCE
I preached a series of messages (Meeting God At The Summit) in the early morning services at the Equippers conference Ireland. The leaders presented me with a signed Bible.

Blessed Ghanain Money
This is a scan of a 2000 Cedis note from my friend James in Ghana.You cannot obtain them in a UK bank. A team of us spent one month in Kumasi,visted Accra, raised £3,000 for a school led village gospel events,leaders meetings,prayer conference and watched Ashanti Kotako play football in the national Stadeum twice. Photos posted when I find them out.
