GOD 'WHAT 'S THE BEST THING I COULD DO TODAY'?' Question Bluepyramid.org

puzzled%20looking%20woman.jpgIf the average person lived to the age of 75 he would only have 27,375 days to spend in this world. That’s not many days considering the earth is millions of years old. One 24 hour day is a mere drop in the vast ocean of time. Therefore we can’t afford to waste a single day. Days are very small and rare segments of time giving us an opportunity to live. But they pass away so quickly. So the best thing you can do today is make your day count. The Bible shows that Moses understood this important truth because he prayed ‘Lord teach us to number our days aright’ Pslam 90:12. And so it is we need to realign ourselves every day. We can’t wait until judgement day before we ask God to forgive us of our sins. Now is the day of salvation. Accept Christ to be your saviour today. Then go after your dreams and chase them to the fullest, today. If you do you will embrace the future without having any regrets. Then tell someone that you love them today because tomorrow they may not be here. Be sure also to have some fun today and help someone today because you will create lasting memories. Then when the sun goes down say a little prayer. If by chance you’ve had a bad day, don’t despair. Stay positive. God is still in control of your destiny! Because this is the day that the Lord has made you can rejoice and be glad in it! Pslam 118:24

j0422224.jpg‘God have you ever wanted to quit your job?’ Bluepyramid.org

‘YEAH’ says the Lord, ‘I sure have. At one time I was so depressed at work I regretted creating mankind. I was so disheartened with my job I decided to close the factory down and bulldoze the entire human race off the face of the earth’.

God’s not joking either! Read about it in Genesis 6:5-7. God almost carried out global genocide and made himself redundant. Thankfully the good Lord didn’t walk away from his profession. He stayed in his job as a favour to a friend. His friend was named Noah. God wouldn’t walk out on his responsibility and leave Noah. The Bible says that, ‘Noah was different. God liked what he saw in Noah’ (Genesis 6:8 The Message Bible.)

That’s not the first time God wanted to pack in his career either. Read about it in the New Testament. God became man in the form of Jesus Christ. The night before the crucifixion Jesus was in the Garden of Gethsemane and he wanted to hand in his notice and leave the family business. But he didn’t. He had a talk with the boss and said, ‘Father if you are willing take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done’. God’s come pretty close to resigning a few times but the truth is he just can’t quit. He loves caring for us. John 3:16 He loves guiding us. John 14:6 the devil and some of his buddies will try to give God the sack at some point in the future. But unfortunately the good Lord gets to keep his job for life and eternity. Read about it in the New Testament book of Revelation Chapter 17 verse 14.
