According to a spokesman the attacker is just a vulnerable bloke that’s been radicalised and taken advantage of by Muslim extremists. The would-be bomber naively transported some explosive device to the Giraffe café in Exeter England. The viable nail bomb was designed to explode, maim and kill innocent men, women and children. But it’s the assailant who is apparently weak and vulnerable. The suspect is described as being brain washed and having a low I Q. If he’s so pathetic why didn’t they send in a social worker or counsellor to raid an adress associated with the bomber? Why did they use a bunch of armed police officers to do the search? Just because you have a low IQ or can be taken advantage of does not make you innocent. Nobody these days takes the blame for the things they do wrong. Ask the young teenagers why they carry knives. It’s not to kill anyone it’s only to protect themselves. It’s the other gang’s fault. And whatever you do don’t upset the youf. Police officers should not stop and search any young suspects for these deadly weapons. You might antagonise them. Then they’ll have another excuse to riot against the establishment. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a goody two shoes or a golden angel. I’ve done my fair share of misdeeds. But I do believe in good old fashioned confession. Its God’s way of making us be honest about our sin.

An army officer told the Sun newspaper of his miracle escape when a rocket-propelled grenade bounced off him.

“Lt David Robertson was struck in the chest by the missile, fired by a Taliban terrorist in Afghanistan. Incredibly it ricocheted off his body armour and exploded against his Warrior armoured vehicle – and David escaped with just minor arm wounds.

The 30-year-old from 4th Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland (The Highlanders), said:

“I saw it coming at me head-on. I was knocked back hard, and then there was a bang and a heat wave. My body armour saved me.”

David, of Inverness, is usually based in Germany. A defence expert said:

“Thanks to his armour we are celebrating the survival of a hero and not mourning the loss of a brave officer.”

WOW. How cool is this? The soldier came under attack was knocked back hard, felt the heat of a missile and was bombarded by an explosive loud bang. And he died; NOT. Thankfully the soldier was wearing his body armour and survived with receiving only minor injuries. So come on Christians. You might not be in a battle like the one being fought in the Middle East, but you are in a spiritual war zone so,

‘ Put on the full armour of God’ says the Apostle Paul, ‘so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes’ Ephesians 6:11.

Don your spiritual Kevlar. Take hold of Christ’s righteousness, thank the Lord for your salvation, proclaim the gospel truth, ready yourself for biblical service, live by faith, and walk humbly before your God. And like all the surviving heroes of Scripture we will be more than conquerors.

Prince William is to fight in the war against South American drug barons in the Caribbean. Not because they are his personal enemies but because the future heir to the throne must be seen playing his part in the armed forces. If that’s the case why not send William to Iraq or Afghanistan? Of course that would be too dangerous. In the Middle East William would be an easier target for al-Qaeda. But ‘the Caribbean on a Royal Navy warship is an ideal tour as it has operational potential and it works diplomatically’ said a senior military source. No soldier is one hundred percent safe in any conflict. The senior military source sounds complacent if not condescending. It will be a total waste of a Royal and a greater shame should our Prince be taken out by mere drugs cartels. History teaches us that you can’t hide a king safely in any battle. Whether King Harold was shot in the eye with an arrow or cut down by Norman Cavalry in 1066 makes no difference. It was a fateful day for the English and the Royal Family. Other royals have perished in armed conflicts too. Lord Mountbatten, a World War 2 hero died unexpectedly in 1979. Thirty four years after the war. No one knew that the IRA had fitted it with a radio controlled fifty-pound bomb which was detonated before the boat reached Donegal Bay. Take heed William. Right now in the UK 2,000 people are being monitored because they are suspected terrorists. There are 200 networks, 30 active plots and since 2007 there have been 57 convictions of people intending to use violence and threats for political purposes. Passions run high when a nation is bombed. Our thoughts go out to the families who have lost loved ones because of terrorists. We cannot imagine the unbearable pain you have suffered. Lest we forget on the weekend of the London bombings Priminister Tony Blair said “we must rid this perversion of the Muslim faith”. This of course goes for any perverted religion. That would take us back to the dark ages of Europe when we had national moral panic, mass hysteria and mob lynching.
