KEVIN COLEY'S THOUGHT 4 THE DAY-MURPHY'S LAW OF RELIGION

He’s got a bloated face, puffed belly and a beard. It could be a fat Jesus. But it’s not. It’s a recent photograph of pop legend Robbie Williams. Robby like some of us has piled on the pounds lately. And he’s decided to keep a low profile. “You won’t be seeing a lot of me for a while. The more I’m away from public life, the more I like it,” he said. Robbie now spends his time investigating Aliens and UFO’s. He’s convinced that they exist. But those aliens are as elusive as Robbie himself. I’ve not been contacted by an alien have you? If you say you have, I don’t believe you. I’m not calling you a liar. I’m just saying that there is a reasonable explanation as to why people should have close encounters of the third kind. According to the ministry of defence they are not right in the head. No I’m not saying that they’re insane. But a UK government dossier says that,

"The close proximity of plasma related fields can adversely affect a vehicle or person. Local fields of this type have been medically proven to cause responses in the temporal lobes of the human brain. These result in the observer sustaining (and later describing and retaining) his or her own vivid, but mainly incorrect, description of what is experienced."

So there you have it. Aliens don’t exist; those who see them are only hallucinating. It all depends on what we carry in our minds. Congregation members of a church say they can see a likeness of Jesus in the burl wood patterns on one of their church doors. Ah, how convenient. The iconographic face in the church door couldn’t possibly be the image of Moses, reminding everyone to obey God’s 10 commandments. It couldn’t possibly be an omen of Judas Iscariot warning all traitors and conspirators that they will come to a sticky end. It couldn’t possibly be an evil apparition of Osama bin Laden reminding us that we live in a world of terror. Considering this to be the case let’s create a new Murphy’s Law. The Murphy’s Law of religion states, ‘if an iconic image sighted on any object, appears to resemble a figure with long hair and a beard, it’s got to be Jesus’.

This explains why a young expectant mother, saw Jesus in a shroud in her baby scan. A gardener has photographed the face of Jesus in an asparagus plant. According to a news report the features of Jesus can also be seen in a hawthorn tree in Essex. Another woman believes she found Jesus in a family picture. ‘Some people see it and some people don’t’ she said. Perhaps these people too have had their minds adversely affected by plasma forces?
